The Meadville Area Recreational Complex is a forty-seven acre recreational facility comprised of The George S. DeArment Ice Arena, the George J. Barco Aquatic Center, a Skate park, four lighted tennis courts, nature trail, sand volleyball courts, picnic shelters, and baseball and soccer fields. The Mission of the Meadville Area Recreation Authority is to provide, maintain and operate recreation facilities and services in a financial sound manner that focuses on improving the quality of life for residents of the Greater Meadville Area (from MARC website).
